Last updated: November 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you
(“you”, “user”) and Ecoomap (“we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your
access to and use of the Ecoomap website, mobile site and any related services
(collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, logging in, accessing or using the Platform in any way, you
confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Acceptance of Terms – Checkbox
In order to register or log in, you may be required to explicitly confirm that you accept
these Terms (for example, by ticking a checkbox labeled
“I accept the Terms and Conditions”).
If you do not accept the Terms, you will not be able to access the Platform.
3. Description of the Service
Ecoomap is a geo-based social and utility platform that allows users to create and view
pins on a map, exchange messages, share offers, requests, goods, services or information,
and communicate through public and private features of the Platform.
The Platform provides only the technological infrastructure for users to interact. We do
not act as an intermediary, broker, seller, buyer, agent, payment service
provider, or guarantor for any transaction between users.
4. No Responsibility for Transactions Between Users
All interactions, exchanges, sales, purchases, donations, deliveries, services or any
other agreements between users happen directly and exclusively between those users.
-
We are not responsible for any contracts, prices, payments, refunds,
quality of products, deliveries, delays, cancellations, disputes or damages that may
arise between users.
-
We do not verify or endorse any user, profile, pin, offer, request,
message or content posted on the Platform.
-
Users are solely responsible for checking local laws (including tax/VAT obligations,
consumer protection rules, licenses and permits) before offering or purchasing any
goods or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim any liability of any kind
arising out of or relating to transactions, communications or relationships between users.
5. Private Chat and User Communications
Ecoomap provides private chat and messaging features so that users can communicate
directly with each other.
-
Private chats are considered confidential communications between users.
-
We do not read the content of your private chats in the normal
operation of the Platform.
-
We do not request or store your chat messages for our own purposes,
except to the limited extent technically necessary to deliver the service, comply with
the law or enforce these Terms.
-
You are solely responsible for what you send, receive or share in private chats.
We are not responsible for any threats, insults, scams, harassment, illegal proposals,
or any other communications that may occur between users in private chat.
6. Passwords and Account Security
For security reasons:
-
We never ask you to send your password in a private message, email,
chat or outside the official login / password reset forms on the Platform.
-
You must never share your password with other users or third parties.
-
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for
all activities that occur under your account.
If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately change your
password and inform us via the contact methods listed in these Terms.
7. Data We Access and Process
We aim to minimize the personal data that we collect and process.
-
As a rule, we only require and store your email address and a
hashed password to create and operate your account.
-
We do not have access to your plain-text password.
-
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Additional optional data (such as profile picture, username, description or location
information) may be provided by you in your profile, and is processed according to our
Privacy Policy.
8. Compliance with EU and International Law
Ecoomap is designed to comply with applicable laws in the European Union and other
relevant jurisdictions, including rules on illegal content and platform liability

You understand that filters may not be perfect and may sometimes

9.6. Pornography Detection Filters
In addition to the strict prohibition of pornographic content, Ecoomap may use
automated tools and moderation mechanisms to detect and block nudity or pornographic
images and videos.
-
You understand and accept that such tools may analyze images and videos you upload
solely for the purpose of detecting prohibited content.
-
No automated system is perfect. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content
will be detected or removed, and we are not liable for content uploaded by users,
within the limits of applicable law.

by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to

16. User Plans, Pins and Automatic Expiration
Ecoomap may offer different types of user accounts, including free “standard” accounts
and paid or “Plus” accounts with additional features.
-
For standard (free) users, pins and posts created on the map are
normally automatically removed after 24 hours. This auto-expiration
is a form of auto-moderation and helps keep the map and content up to date.
-
For Plus or paid users, certain pins or posts may remain visible for
longer or be marked as permanent, depending on the plan and
features available at the time.
-
Regardless of the account type, all pins and content must comply with these Terms,
and we may remove or hide any content at any time if we consider that it violates
the law or these rules.
The exact duration and conditions of pin visibility may change over time and may be
updated in the Platform or in the specific description of each plan.
